Me: "Yay! A new drawing for the loverly folks of dA!"
My scanner: "Oh, look, shading!" *CHOMPCHOMP*
Me: T____T
I tried to fix it, but my original shading has been lost to my cruel, cruel scanner.
I was up until 6 this morning, playing on the intarwebs and drawing, and somewhere in there, I decided to do a picture of this lovely bydo. I realize the flawed proportions, but did I not just say 6 in the morning?
Materials: The brand-new 0.5 mech pencil my mommy got me. ^-^

This is pretty cool. And it's random fanart of one of my characters, which is usually good for making me all warm and fuzzy inside. The shading looks pretty good, from what I can tell, although I also know from experience that scanners generally dislike pensilcs, or like eating them for breakfast. This gives me no end of trouble when I want to scan a sketch to show around and maybe get some critique or comments on before I ink it ('cause you can't really change anything after that, on the original, at least).

Glad you like it. All your pictures had her either in a flight suit or nothing at all, but I wanted to show off her chest eyeball without going full nudey.

Oh, there are plenty of ways to do that. To be honest, I need to draw her in clothes more often. Because she does normally wear them in general RP and the like. Some things just don't work when trying to fit in. Such as public nudity. Which is apparently illegal, for some bizarre reason.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
